Saw this image with a seat that appears to have more/higher padding. Anyone know what it is? Wunderlich?

I've been thinking to try a higher saddle, to open up my knee angle a bit.

My own 2007 with current seat - it is a standard "comfort" seat, I think:

@colroubaix good question there. I’m also interested in whatever you find out.
I’m 6’2” with a 33 inseam and usually need to figure out ways to lessen the knee angle on my bikes.
On my 2014 R1200R, I had a local upholsterer add padding to it. As you can see in the pic below, the added padding is noticeable when it develops temporary folds over extended use periods. I added about 2 inches worth of additional foam at the seat area. Added benefit is the quasi-flat seating area which makes it easier to move back and forth on those long days.

Whenever I’ve read about the sport seat option or custom ones, I don’t ever recall any of them offering that much height increase over standard. So I never went that route. Not sure how much height you want to increase in yours.
As a side note, on multi-day full 8-10 hour saddle days, I felt I would benefit from additional height and went with the inflatable overseat option from AirHawk. Happy with those additional centimeters (not much but some…) and the cooling airflow.
If you find out about any options which offer 2+ inches, I’ll be interested too.

My 14 R1200R has the standard seat on it. I looked up the part number on the tag and it is called the comfort seat. I am 5'10" and it is too short for me. So I am in the search for something taller as well. The Wunderlich looks like a good option, and the Corbin does not give you any idea what the seat height is. I have had a Laam seat made for a FJR I had but I do not think the look goes with the BMW.
It does not seem there are many options out there unless you want to order from Europe.

I have a Corbin and compared to the Comfort seat it's a bit taller and allows a good amount of room move back and forth. Here's a pic of both, Corbin top pic.

BTW - the pic of your seat looks lower than a Comfort seat, mine doesn't appear nearly as scooped out as your. I'll check to see what the part number is on mine and post.

Follow up from my original post and question. First, thanks for all the replies! I did order the saddle from Wunderlich USA and gave it a try. I did like the overall flatter seating shape and raised distance to the pegs. Though the front end of the Wunderlich is wider than the BMW saddle and does not allow the legs to drop to the pegs or road as easily. This puts more pressure on the back of the legs and hamstrings, which I found uncomfortable after an hour or so. I am 5'-11", ~32" inseam. I sent it back to Wunderlich, and they refunded the purchase, less a small restock charge. After going back to the BMW saddle on a ride this morning, I simply considered that some more yoga for the hip and knee joints might keep me comfortable with modest leg tuck of the stock setup.

For reference, photo of the manufacturing markings on the underside of my BMW saddle:

Have you considered the Bench Seat High, Part # 52 35 7 706 418? I also added a pair of foot pegs with a 1.25" drop from Knight Design (sales@knightdesignllc.com) to my 2007. The new seat and pegs were a game changer for me. I loved the R1200R, but the low saddle seat was a killer for me. I tried a Corbin, a Russel Day Long, and even a King/Queen style. Nothing felt right until I found the High Bench. It works for me.

Something I realized! Has probably not been at the forefront of my mind, because I love the look of the stock pegs, but I removed the rubber inserts this afternoon, and that gives a bit more leg room without impacting cornering clearance. Win win. I may get some other footpegs in stock position, but looking forward to trying out as is.

Might help with the “seat” problem a bit, and it’s a zero cost experiment. 😄☺
