I must be just as dumb, what email digest link?

 

My understanding is these emails summarise recent activity on the site and have links to relevant threads. I get them because I have Tapatalk installed on my phone. I don't know how link.vesta.threadloom.news digests originate, though – Admins will need to help here ...

 

MJGT. I signed up for a weekly digest of posts somewhere in my account settings. Quite handy.

 

Thanks mate, I get it now. I don't use chrome so probably would not have the same issue.

Here is what Chrome is saying:

This site can’t be reached 127.0.0.1 refused to connect.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

 

....

Getting directed to "127.0.0.1" means the link address is presumed to be on the device you are using. It's not a web address, it's a reserved address, for html pages on your computer or phone, tablet or whatever you're using.
I won't bore you with lecture on DNS, webpage resolution and that tedium.

You may want to take a screen shot and ask a forum admin.

 

It is working now. Not sure what the problem was but I didn't change anything on my end (that I realize).
