The short wire harness running from the oem navigator mount down the right hand side of the steering head connects to a main wire running further along the bike (to rear) in a socket (blue plug) - refer to Photo below.
It also has a short branch wire ending at a second plug (red arrow).
I have removed the oem mount, wiring and plug down to the blue plug socket as I am fitting a Zumo XT on a new RS windscreen level mount.
Questions:
1. what is the purpose of the unused branch-
line plug marked by red arrow? It has two wires.
2. What is the power supply voltage at the plug/socket connection, shown by blue arrow, Has it been reduced from 12v to GPS input ~ 5 volts?
