I have the same bike as you. All I can say is they both look alike colorwise to me. One would think something that drastic would be caught during quality control.

Maybe the paint you bought is incorrect? Just a thought...

I did a little painting on my bike. I used paint from.....TouchUpDirect | Buy Auto Body Touch Up Paint Online

I'm basically a beginner, but I found that parts needed more than one coat in order for it to match. I had to keep adding coats until I achieved the correct color 'match.' A little food for thought.
