Didn't use it and by the looks I will stay clear of it. Can't imagine it not moving when the trye wears. Plus if it's hard enough to be screwed in by a screwdriver, imagine what it would sound like when the tyre spins under you. I will stick with the tried and true glued filling.

 

Haven't tried these, but I've tried a few different flavors of plug kits including mushroom plugs.

The simple-tried-and-true rope/cord plugs work the best for me. I've used them for thousands of miles on and off road and never had one fail or even a slow leak.

 

That’s designed with car tires in mind. I can see how it would be easier to insert as it works as a screw.

I’ve used the string type…which worked well enough to get me home on a cross county trip. I also have the mushroom style. To me, you need a good seal on the inside of the tire. I’m not sure how these accomplish that for a long term fix.

 

I've kept Safety Seal kit in my tank bag for years. I also have a plug n go kit which as worked very well.

 

I use Plug & Go mushroom type plugs...three of my bikes, including my R1200R, currently have them inserted with no issues!
