While guessing I will be in the minority here yet again, 2 facts to keep in mind about all of these car-play-like devices IMHO:
1. These are NOT GPS systems:
They do not have GPS receiver hardware in them, and instead rely on your phone for both GPS + data, and they simply display it; this implies no phone = they are useless, and that using them = draining your phone battery, so one needs to be aware of that fact.
2. Firmware:
Like any computers these have firmware, and so unless from a good/reputable home/manufacturer, they will likely have poor support and only few firmware updates to resolve bugs/etc.
So as tempting and shiny as they look personally I have decided to pass on them.
